Kanzo Registration
December 2008

Congratulations and welcome to the heart of the Vodou religion! In Vodou, we believe that a person who is considering initiation in the Vodou religion is doing so because the lwa are leading him or her to do so. Considering initiation shows good self-esteem! It is the single most empowering, life-changing, life-giving thing a human being on the sacred Earth can do. The kanzo prolongs life, improves health, finances and domestic relations, empowers psychic ability, and protects the initiate from physical and emotional harm, in addition to all the spiritual benefits of the ceremony.
You are welcome to participate in the December 2008 Kanzo being held by Mambo Racine and the Roots Without End Society. If you have not yet contacted Mambo Racine, do so and you will receive preliminary information regarding total costs, housing, meals, transportation, clothing, and other relevant topics.
When you become a Vodou initiate in our house, what we have done for many others, we will do for you also, in just the same way as it was done for us. Our house is located in Jacmel, Haiti, a peaceful rural town on the southern coast. Our members are Haitian and American, Canadian, New Zealander, Costa Rican... all sorts! You can be of any religion, any race, any sexual orientation, any ethnicity - none of that matters in Vodou. What matters is that you have correct, authentic ceremonies and that you are carefully taught the theory and practice of the Vodou religion and related magic. That is what our house is all about.
To register for the December 2008 Kanzo, you must make a non-refundable $500 payment by using the PayPal button below. This payment counts toward the total cost of your ceremonies. If you can not use PayPal you can pay by other methods, that is not a problem. Just email Mambo Racine, and we will make arrangements.
Once you have registered, your training will begin. You will receive a great deal of information, recorded songs, written material... there is plenty to learn and the sooner you can begin, the better.
The December 2008 Kanzo requires a time committment of two weeks. Participants should plan to arrive in Port-au-Prince
on Tuesday December 23, 2008, and depart on Tuesday January 6, 2009. Of course we meet you at the airport! Your fees include the cost of housing and meals at the lovely Rendez-Vous Guest House.
Your ceremonies will be conducted by Mambo Racine, Haitian Houngans and Mambos, and the Haitian initiates of the Roots Without End Society. You will receive every ceremony to which you are entitled. You will learn songs, dances, prayers and invocations, you will learn the passwords and the secret handshake that permits you to be recognized as a Vodou initiate anywhere in the world.
Your ceremonies will be exciting, exhausting, invigorating, challenging, joyful, enlightening, all at once! You will be reborn, you will receive a new and sacred name. There is no parallel to the experience of the kanzo in American culture, and it is only by undergoing initiation that you can learn the profound spiritual lessons it reveals.
After your ceremonies, you are a member of the Roots Without End Society. You continue to receive training, invitations to participate in ceremonies, and when you are ready, assistance in founding your own Vodou house if you so desire.
We never scam our initiates or lie to them, we never give them less than what they should receive, or refuse to teach them. This is an international, multilingual house full of happy, positive, creative people, and you are welcome to join.
To make your first payment toward your kanzo fees, and assure your place in the December 2008 Kanzo, please click on the button below, or email Mambo Racine. Then you can continue to make non-refundable payments regularly until December 1, 2008, by which time your fees must be paid in full. No refunds can be made because we have to book your hotel, meals, taxi and other accomodations in advance.
Once you have completed registration, you will arrive at another page requesting your postal address, so that you can begin to receive instructional materials.
Please feel free to email Mambo Racine with any questions, to share any inspirations - the only silly question is the one you don't ask! We hope to hear from you soon!
May God, the lwa and the ancestors bless you as you begin your journey into Vodou.
