Mambo Andreli is a priestess of the Vodou religion. She is a Mambo sur point, a priestess who serves one lwa in particular - in this case, the powerful Petro lwa Erzulie Dantor.

Mambo Andreli grew up in a Vodouisant family, near Jacmel on the southern coast of Haiti. She learned to revere and serve God, and after God, the lwa Erzulie Dantor. As she grew into adulthood, she discovered that she had a talent for doing magic. Neighbor women would come to her for magic! She did magic to help her neighbors earn money, magic to bring back unfaithful husbands, magic to punish men who abused women.

As time went by, she became a market woman, and little by little increased her business until she had a place in the Jacmel town market. Everyone said that Erzulie Dantor was helping her, so she finally decided to become a Vodou initiate.
Andreli's husband, Houngan Babou, was already serving in the Roots Without End Society led by Mambo Racine Sans Bout. She used to come and help out at services. One day, while Mambo Racine was preparing for an initiation ceremony, Andreli accidentally went in to the djevo, the room where initiates are secluded. The tradition demanded that she be arrested and given initiation into the Vodou tradition. So Andreli became a hounsi.




After two years of faithful service, Mambo Racine offered to raise Andreli's initiatory rank to that of Mambo sur point. Andreli was happy to agree! And thus Andreli became Mambo Andreli, servant of God and after God, the lwa Erzulie Dantor. Her clientele grew, and she is now willing and able to work with international clients.

Mambo Andreli does magic for men and women - magic to help you in business, magic to attract love, magic to remove curses and hexes, magic to punish someone who has abused you. She is a kind and loving woman who takes very sincere interest in her clients.

When Mambo Andreli works magic, she very often constructs a special sort of lamp, made in a metal three-legged pot, filled with special oils and illuminated with a floating wick. Such a lamp is not easy to make, and there is a great deal of magic that goes along with its preparation. When this magic is being done, Mambo Andreli also uses a tcha tcha or maraca, because Erzulie Dantor is a Petro lwa and this is how Petro lwa are served.




Mambo Andreli cooperates well with her international clients, and has no particular preference or prejudice. She works with Americans and Europeans, with black, white and Hispanic people - she hasn't had an Asian client yet, but she would love to! She listens carefully to her clients wishes, and she is especially eager to work with those who have been abused and victimized - as a Haitian woman, Mambo Andreli has seen many of her sisters suffer abuse, and she is committed to helping those who wish to free themselves from abusive relationships and punish their abusers.

Mambo Andreli also has good success with magic for financial gain. Many Haitian market women, and American business people, have come to Mambo Andreli for magic intended to improve their personal finances.

Mambo Andreli sometimes performs animal sacrifice to feed Erzulie Dantor, but this is done at the client's discretion. Dantor's sacrificial animals are a black hen, or a black female pig. The sacrifice of animals "charges up" the magic and makes it stronger.
