Herbal Power Workshop
with Loulou Prince
July 2007

The magical work progessed with the assistance of several more members of the Roots Without End Society, including Houngan Babou and his biological brother, Houngan Maxilien. The Petro badji became warm with the effort of the participants, and the air seemed thick with the presence of the lwa. Mambo Racine became possessed by the lwa Avadra, a very powerful magical aspect of Legba.

Loulou showed Houngan Richard how to determine the objective of the magic, and secure the magical force.

Houngan Tom and Houngan Richard personalized their magic as Loulou Prince leans back, fatigued by spiritual effort.

One of the bravest members of the Roots Without End Society undertakes the risky job of depositing the magical calabashes in the nearest four-way crossroad. The person who does this work is paid cash, because of the danger that the power of the magic contained in the calabash could attack him.

Houngan Richard and Houngan Tom learned many more things, which are not documented in this photoessay. If you would like to work and study with medsen fey, or herbalist, Loulou Prince, email Loulou Prince.
